English version

The University of Sassari recently approved (with one year in advance in respect to the European decisions) the resolution to extend the Erasmus+ mobility reciprocity provisions to the bilateral agreements signed with the Universities of North-Africa and Middle East which are part of the EMUNI (Euro-Mediterranean Universities) and UNIMED (Union of the Mediterranean Universities) networks. This will exempt students from the South Mediterranean from paying tuition fees when spending a 3 to 9 months mobility at the University of Sassari within the above mentioned agreements.

The adopted decision concerns all mobilities carried out in the framework of exchange bilateral agreements already existing or to be signed between the University of Sassari, Emuni and Unimed universities. The agreements envisage the reciprocity conditions set by the Erasmus programme, which foresee that a predetermined number of incoming and outgoing students  may carry out a mobility at the host Institution paying tuition fees only to their home university.
